March is National Supply Management Month. As stated in the ISM-Nevada March 2014 BuyLiner Newsletter: “It’s a time to celebrate with pride the role of the procurement professional. When we celebrate Supply Management Month, we acknowledge an elite group of professionals that have made a significant difference in procurement efficiency and effectiveness. This month provides the opportunity to inform management, elected officials, administrators, taxpayers and suppliers about the procurement process and the admirable work we perform every day.”
Procurement professionals are in good company. Here are a few other March observances: Red Cross Month, National Ethics Awareness Month, Employee Spirit Month, Women’s History Month, National Caffeine Awareness Month, and National Umbrella Month.
