Q3 2026 Supply Market Research and Information Launches To Note

For Q3 2026 (July – September), AI-focused launch announcements to note cover new agent/agentic capabilities, reengineered/rebuilt solutions, and an in-house LLM launch. Examples:

Accuris unveiled a completely reengineered Supply Chain Intelligence platform that is built on data covering 1.3 billion electronic components. It brings together “a redesigned user experience, AI-powered component research, the always-on BOM Health Agent, ranked alternate recommendations and impact modeling in one integrated workflow.”

Achilles launched a new Achilles Risk Screening capability specifically for energy organizations and evolving energy ecosystems to help in anticipating disruption. It addresesses the “risk blind spot” where emerging financial, cyber, ESG and operational risks can develop unnoticed.

Beroe announced Beroe abi, a digital procurement analyst that answers sourcing questions in natural language. Beroe abi is a full rebuild of the company’s core market intelligence platform, Beroe Live.ai, and draws on data points across category, supplier, commodity, cost structure, macro, and risk intelligence.

Descartes Systems Group launched Descartes Datamyne, an AI agent for searching and analyzing global trade data, making its import and export data foundation easier to use for identifying suppliers, monitoring competitors, and evaluating trade risks.

Supply chain risk management and due diligence provider, Exiger announced its AI-native 1Exiger release, an enhanced AI execution layer built on Exiger’s new AI product development lifecycle (AI-PDLC). This allows for rapid platform upgrades and ongoing release of new functionality on a daily/hourly basis.

Global content provider, Thomson Reuters launched its first in-house developed proprietary large language model, drawing from years of authoritative content from Westlaw, Practical Law, Checkpoint, and Reuters and allowing the company to control the model.

MCP Announcements

Since November 2024, when Anthropic open-sourced the Model Context Protocol (MCP), adoption has been fast with noted activity among supply market research and information providers. Earlier this year we saw MCP server and connector announcements from IBISworld, Reuters, IDC (currently building), Beroe, D&B, and GovSpend to name a few. Announcements continued through Q3. Examples:

VMS provider Beeline launched Beeline MCP, declaring it is the first native Model Context Protocol capability built into a vendor management system. Enterprises now have one connection point for AI agents/assistants to act on workforce data across sourcing, engagement, and compliance.

Bloomberg launched Bloomberg Enterprise Model Context Protocol (MCP), an AI access layer for its next-generation Data License offering. The solution enables clients’ AI agents to discover, understand, and retrieve licensed Bloomberg through a standardized MCP interface.

Vesper introduced its new MCP connector, Commodity Agent, which connects a company’s AI directly to Vesper’s commodity intelligence and into existing workflows. Vesper states it is the first agri commodity intelligence platform to make this capability possible.

New Indices

New index offerings are not letting up. As a result of continuous technological advances, there is a need and desire to measure newly created data brought about by these advances. In addition, new measures for regional and country-centric vulnerabilities and strengths is where we continue to see a concentrated number of launches. Examples:

BCG’s (Boston Consulting Group) inaugural Intelligent Cities Index assesses how 61 of the world’s biggest cities use technology to serve their residents and businesses. BCG analyzed maturity across five domains: outcomes, strategy, adoption, ways of working, and enablers.

FNTV rethought its annual global AI infrastructure ranking by addressing who is building the strongest AI economy instead who has the most AI capability. AI supremacy “becomes transformative is when it moves beyond the network edge and begins to operate factories, power systems, ports, mines, logistics networks, hospitals, vehicles and machines.”

AI agricultural commodity intelligence platform provider, Helios AI, launched the Hunger Exposure Index, a “first-of-its-kind” global ranking that measures countries’ vulnerability to future climate, trade, and geopolitical shocks.

National Association of Realtors launched the quarterly CRE Demand Index to measure the economic drivers of commercial real estate demand across more than 300 U.S. metropolitan areas.

AI-native systems integrator, Weaver, launched the AI ROI Index, a free benchmark that shows organizations whether their artificial intelligence investments are creating measurable value and where that value is being constrained or lost.
