Keeping Procurement and Supply Professionals Informed and Educated

There are a multitude of organizations, associations, publications, media sites, and thought leaders that play a big part in keeping procurement and supply professionals continuously informed and educated. Here are three very recent announcements that are no doubt helping to push the profession forward.

Smarter Sourcing – Adding to the growing number of excellent procurement media outlets, this new media platform has been launched by LogicSource, a procurement services and technology solutions provider. Intended for sourcing and procurement professionals its focus will be on three objectives: peer-led learning, interactive engagement, and evaluating the profession.

Art of Procurement SpendPros – Art of Procurement announced the official launch of SpendPros, a new on-demand consultancy that “connects businesses with the expertise and market intelligence they need to improve the management of high-impact spend categories without the cost, complexity, and commitment of traditional consultancies.”

Kloepfel-SCMDOJO – Marc Kloepfel announced, via LinkedIn, the acquisition of a majority stake in SCMDOJO, with the goal of establishing it as the premier supply chain academy and expert marketplace. Dr. Muddassir Ahmed is brining “his innovative podcast series and SCMDOJO’s existing resources under this expanded umbrella.” The vision is to create pathways “where skills are leading the edge of industry standards.”
